The Village of Hamilton, NY puts on a community wide 4th of July parade with a new theme each year. For 2009, the theme was “It’s Patriotic to be Green” a theme which fit perfectly with the SMHT mission of conservation. For the first time, we entered a float in the parade and were ecstatic to learn we won the “Greenest Theme” trophy. Link to Radio Free Hamilton Slides of the Parade.
